The London Music Centre was established with one goal in mind: Creating an opportunity for any student from any background and from anywhere in London, to find that one teacher that can make all the difference between a great future and personal enjoyment to a rather more mundane, unexciting activity which at best can be described as a faint memory of endless practice and minor results...

Our philosophy

The famous Russian pianist Vladimir Horowitz used to quote his great teacher Anton Rubenstein Don't tell me how talented you are but how hard you work... It is not only the talent and skills of the student or even how hard one works, but the sheer enthusiasm and renewed excitement that will carry him or her forward.

We are aware of the poor choice and options many families are facing when it comes to finding the ultimate teacher for their children. It is well known that a truly great teacher is the main reason for a student, young or old, to succeed and grow in any subject.

Whether it is at school or at home, it's usually the more skilled and enthusiastic teachers that achieve the most successful results in educating and enhancing the student's abilities.

What We offer

We at the LMC have gathered close to a hundred teachers, most of them are post graduated from the prestigious, world-renowned Royal Academy of Music in London, carrying not only the years of studying, their teaching diplomas, and their performance diplomas (with supreme command of their instruments), but also the enthusiasm and vitality to pass their knowledge and craftsmanship to the next generation.

So, whether it is for pleasure as an after-school activity for your child, to create another field of interest in your child's life or it is the long and exciting journey through the grades of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) aiming to reach grade 8, the various diplomas, music academy and more - we can truly take you there.

Our teachers cover the entire spectrum of musical instrument, from piano to piccolo, from violin to voice training, from tuba to timpani, all available for you. And you know what? All our teachers are contracted to come to your own home so it is one less thing for you to worry and juggle in your children's daily schedule.

My name is Elliot Mann and I am the founder and director of the London Music Centre. I have been practicing the organ and piano for the last 25 years, and been teaching for the last decade in London and elsewhere. I have assembled a dedicated team with one goal in mind - finding you exactly what you're looking for - for musicians, by musicians. That is who we are - that is what we do!
